About

mfs_icons.png

Graphic designer, aiming to replace the temporary Everaldo and Tango icons currently in use, and make ReactOS look pretty in general. Sort of "evolved" from icon designer for the project into an all-hands graphics guy. Now officially the User Interface Coordinator. Also remastered the original ReactOS logo (see above) made by Steve Cockeram for various high-resolution image sizes, including icons. NEW: logo also available in vector! (SVN: /reactos/trunk/press-media/art/logo_vector.ai)

Trivia

Has been interested in ReactOS since Summer 2003, but couldn't find anyone to talk to on the IRC channel at that time.

Has been involved (at various levels) with ReactOS since January 2004. The existance of an active IRC channel helped with getting in touch ;).

Really likes Manga and Anime, and in more active times has actually been a fansubber, encoding for such groups as Elite-Fansubs and AnimeONE, but is now retired because of lack of time to do all those fun things at once. If only days had more hours.

Nickname abbreviated to "mf" - often causing confusion with Michael Fritscher and Martin Fuchs.

Contact

You can contact mf by email at mf@mufunyo.net, and on IRC under either mf or mf_ (do a /whois, he always carries a *.nl hostmask) on FreeNode, EnterTheGame, zIRC, DevCore, Rizon, and IRCnet, among others, but the simplest way would be to join #ReactOS, since he is often found idling there. He does not wish to be disturbed by strangers on instant messaging protocols.
